The report was published to coincide with the UN High Level Political Forum in July 2018, which included a focus on energy efficiency as part of a review of SDG7. The report also includes a special case study of GFEI’s work with Jamaica.

high emissions, information on vehicle fleet characteristics, and insights into effective emission curbing measures such as vehicle bans, fee-charging schemes, low emissions zones, or incentive programs.

GFEI’s new ‘COP23 update’ shares progress made since the COP21 Climate Summit in Paris. It includes summaries of recent activities in the past year and a progress chart for all the countries where GFEI works.
This report takes London as a case study, focusing on the issue of air pollution from vehicles and exploring the actions and policies in place to enable safe, clean and healthy journeys to school.
The analysis undertaken in this report focuses on the subset of London’s schools most affected by poor air quality. It presents data for these schools on the issues of deprivation, obesity and physical activity.
